Laxfield's Henry - written by Catherine Cawood and performed by herself, Pen Benchero, Tony Winn, Becky Winn and Julie Theaker, who also provided the music, was the museum's opening event on Friday 29 April. The company played to a packed and very appreciative house. A very entertaining and informative evening was had by all as the play's theme was based on the true story of Henry Keable from Laxfield, who was transported io New South Wales in the late 1700s for burglary and then became an inflential early settler. Visit the museum to see more of the story.
